Palm, Apple and Google are the clear smartphone leaders
The headquarters of Apple, Palm and Google form the “Golden Triangle” of the smartphone world that push the pace of innovation for smartphones that raises the bar, says an article on sfgate.
Apple led the way back in 2007 with the original iPhone and now leads again with the iPhone 3G S. Palm has the Palm Pre with webOS which is claimed to be the closest competitor to the iPhone. While Google has advanced the boundaries of smartphone platforms with Google Android and the T-Mobile G1.
There is of course Research In Motion’s BlackBerry smartphone, Nokia smartphones with their Symbian S60, but Apple. Palm and Google are redefining the smartphone space with their new operating systems and intuitive interfaces which make them stand out as clear smartphone leaders.
