It appears that Sprint is still struggling to supply the Palm Pre to subscribers as wirelessandmobilenews reports that Sprint CEO Bob Brust spoke on the subject during a webcast investor conference.

Brust said…”We still have a backlog of subscribers but it’s not unmanageable and we get shipments every week … We’ll be short for a while but we’re catching up.”

The next due shipment of the Palm Pre is to Best Buy on the 8th of July, and purchasing from best Buy means no waiting for a rebate. However some Best Buy stores require a $50 deposit in the form of a Best Buy gift card for the customer to be placed on the pre-order list.
