According to an article on Intomobile, SMobile has now delivered a new application for the iPhone which is available from the iTunes App Store and is called ContactCrypt 1.6.

Security firm SMobile’s ContactCrypt 1.6 for iPhone application has apparently been designed to offer protection of the iPhone users “sensitive core components,” along with business and personal contact info.

Other iPhone App Store encryption apps provide a vault mechanism for storing passwords, ContactCrypt 1.6 is a 3rd party app which specifically encrypts core components of the iPhone operating system. No word on just how much the ContactCrypt 1.6 app costs though.
