How to Jailbreak and Unlock new iPhone OS 3.1
Today on September 9 the Apple Event 2009 announced the all new Apple iPhone OS 3.1 software which is ready to download, well below is some news insight on how to Jailbreak and Unlock new iPhone OS 3.1.
QuickPWN has just recently published an article on how to do this, there were a lot of bugs that were present in the iPhone OS 3.0 firmware and this new update will hopefully fix a load of these problems, do you have an unlocked iPhone 3G or 3GS because if you do QuickPWN recommends you do not download the new iPhone 3.1 update, if you do decide to update to the new OS you will permanently lock your device and the ultrasn0w unlocking software won’t work.

I have iphone 3g with OS 3.0.1 .I just iccidentally upgrade OS 3.1 dan now the iphone is lock. Any advise to unlock. please help.

First i erased my iPhone 3G OS 3.0.1 and later i installed iPhone firmware 3.1 from iTunes 9.0 but when did jailbreak that didn’t do jailbreak its stuck in the middle of jailbreaking process, why? Is there any problem with restore.ipsw file, if you have any solution then help me out?

Congrats on the jailbreak 3.1, worked for me BUT the unlock for OS 3.1 hasnt released yet. You can use your iphone offline and wait until Dev Team release the unlock as well. If you want to jailbreak your iphone 3G, please visit http://blog.iphone-dev.org/ follow the instructions and you’ll be done.
