Pureness of Sony Ericsson reviewed

The Sony Ericsson Pureness may not come with a completely see through keyboard like the LG Crystal slider, instead it goes one better and dishes out a translucent screen instead.

Bold and ultra cool, a bit like something you may expect to see on display at the Tate Modern but does it leave practicality by the wayside? It is a world away from the beefy touch screen devices we have seen a number of recently.

On paper though it appears nothing other than a very simple dumb phone with music playing skills and Bluetooth. Take a closer look, and you may agree it’s a work of art really with its slim, light and of course it is magically see through.

Weighing in at just 70g it is incredibly light, the call quality is very good considering the speaker appears to just be floating around in there. The numbers on the keyboard are invisible when the power is off, but they light up slowly when the power is turned on. Source – electricpig.co.uk
