As you may well be aware, CES 2010 starts soon, and Google is holding a press conference tomorrow. Well apparently according to techcrunch, rumour has it that Spotify will launch a US version of their service possible on the 5th of January.

Coincidence? Maybe, but other rumour has it that Google and Spotify are in negotiations to make the Spotify application a feature of Android 2.1 and thus usable on the Google Nexus One.

This would then mean that Spotify would come to the good ole US of A via the Google Nexus One handset, which is also rumoured to be being unveiled at said Google press conference.

Of course all this is unconfirmed speculation at the moment, but as Google will be doing their announcing bit tomorrow, it sure isn’t long until we find out.
