The latest designer brand to enter the luxury mobile phone market will be Versace, joining the ranks of others such as Prada, Armani and Dior and the like. Versace has teamed with ModeLabs to design, make and distribute the first ever luxury mobile handset from Versace.

The first Versace mobile phone will make a private debut with select Vercase clients at a private showing during the Parisian Haute Couture week this month before becoming available in spring, and will be part of the Versace Atelier line of Haute Couture designs.

Giacomo Ferraris, CEO of Vercase has said “This exciting collaboration is consistent with Versace’s strategy of developing the brand’s strong business potential through a select number of agreements with key international licensing partners.”

No word on what price the Vercase luxury mobile phone may command but no doubt will only be for the filthy rich and famous as most of theses things are.
