Mobile World Congress 2010: Toshiba Shows TG02 and K01 Handsets
Toshiba has added a couple of new handsets to their portfolio at Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona this year, the Toshiba TG02 the successor to the Toshiba TG01 and the Toshiba K01 handset, reports an article over on stuff.tv.
Last year when Tosiba introduced their TG01 it failed to impress due to sporting an unresponsive touch screen, but with the new Toshiba TG02 that problem has been solved, and the Toshiba TG02< packs a 4.1 inch capacitive touch screen and Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and 1GHz processor all crammed into a 10mm thick shell.
On the other hand there is the Toshiba K01 smartphone which sports a 4.1 inch OLED capacitive touch screen, slide out QWERTY keyboard, microSD expansion and a slim 12.9 body, and that’s about all that’s known so far.
As usual with new smartphone any word on pricing and availability of the Toshiba TG02 and Toshiba K01 handsets are not yet available but as soon as we hear we’ll let you know.
