Sony Ericsson have recently announced that they are working on a new software update for the Satio handset.

And according to the article over at softpedia.com the solution is just around the corner, with the Japanese – Swedish mobile maker saying that users in different markets will expect the roll out of the update at different times also depending on operator branded versions as well.

It is though expected to be delivered possibly even this weekend and then continuing over the next few weeks. It may take a little bit longer for some others as wireless carriers will have to approve the solution. Good news though as all Satio owners should be able to get the new software in a couple of weeks.

The update according to Sony Ericsson, will include features such as support for WVGA video recording, it will be possible to upload pictures to Facebook, Video uploading to YouTube, conversational messaging which means that conversations will be nicely integrated in the messaging menu plus much more.
