Samsung to Announce Samsung Galaxy S at CTIA 2010
The biggest mobile show in the US starts today, CITA 2010 in Las Vega, and according to an article over on engadget, Samsung plans on announcing their latest Galaxy smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S.
What is apparently on the Samsung agenda is the reveals of what they call “Smart Life” philosophy or “S Life” as it is being referred to. Word is S Life isn’t a smartphone platform or product but an ‘overarching’ strategy. Samsung is also expected to announce the 1GHz applications processor as standard for their premium smartphones for 2010.
Also Samsung is planning on announcing a large content push of Super AMOLED optimised full length movies and shows along with a few magazine and book deals straight to mobile thrown in, but no word on who will be involved or how it will work at the moment.
Then there’s the first S Life smartphone, Samsung’s big announcement will be the Samsung Galaxy S which is reportedly an Android smartphone sporting a Super AMOLED display and packing Samsung’s home-grown 1GHz processor, and will apparently become available later in the year.
