Web content management system vendor, Kentico Software at the DevConnections Conference has announced that Kentico CMS 5.5 will deliver full support for the Microsoft.NET Framework 4 and Visual Studio 2010 reports an article over on prweb.

Kentico CMS 5.5 along with Visual Studio 2010 provides a powerful combination to deliver dynamic and rich interactive websites, intranets, online stores and community sites and includes authorisation of Facebook Connect and OpenID or RSS Web parts and widgets.

Both the MetaWeblog API and Sharepoint Connector are fully integrated into Kintico CMS and it has been further improved with enhanced mobile optimisation, performance and reporting.

The product manager of Kentico Software, Michael Neuwirth, has said “The newly included Mobile section of the Corporate Sample Site was added by customer request. Given the volume of mobile development our customers were looking for examples of optimised pages for the web-browser based smart phones. Using Kentico CMS for their websites they are able to cut the time and costs of development of Mobile version of the standard Web pages.”
