Nokia N8 Symbian^3 Lambasted by Murtazin
The guys who always seems to be in the know when it comes to smartphones and software way before anyone else with possibly the exception of the iPhone, the editor in chief of mobile-review, Eldar Murtazin had waded in with his review of the first Symbian^3 smartphone the Nokia N8.
According to an article over on intomobile, the review has been translated from its original Russian and these are the main points Eldar Murtazin picks up on…
The Nokia N8 sports a 12 megapixel camera which can capture 720p video and while the camera can take good movies it isn’t better than any other HD capable device on the market but the still images it does take are better are better than the Sony Ericsson Satio.
The Nokia N8 is codenamed Vasco and the word “disappointment” is “too weak” to describe the Nokia N8 and runs the same old S60 5th Edition as on the Nokia N97 with a few “minor additions.” When comparing with the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, the Nokia N8 isn’t faster and it’s “sad.”
Murtazin goes on to state that the Nokia N8 “feels like a device that will damage the Nokia brand even further,” and that the HDMI connector is different in size to a standard HDMI.
Sp it looks like Murtazin isn’t too impressed with the Nokia N8, which we reported a few days ago will be delayed until July, but we will reserve our judgement of the device for when more reviews come out once it hits in Q3.
