HTC Wildfire Android Phone Heads for Europe, Specs Revealed
We first heard mention of a budget Android handset from HTC which might be called the HTC Wildfire when HTC ran a contest to find a name for the device, well it appears that the name Wildfire won out and is now heading to Europe reports an article over on Gizmodo.
Spec wise the HTC Wildfire offers up a 3.2 inch QVGA capacitive touch screen, Qualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz processor, Android 2.1 operating system, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 512MB ROM and 384MB RAM, GPS/AGPS, WiFi,Bluetooth and a 3.5mm jack.
The HTC Wildfire also sports the HTC Sense user interface over Android and a new app sharing widget which works with email, text and Twitter and is said to be an easy way of recommending applications to other Android users.
Release wise, the HTC Wildfire, although obviously no Droid Incredible, is expected to hit Asia and Europe in four different colours sometime in the third quarter but as yet no work on any price tag.
