iPhone 4G Release Date with Verizon June 21: True or False?
Now here is one for the books, the Verizon iPhone 4G is going to launch on June 21st, now we need to know if this is true or false.
Andy from Tech Techies has said that the Apple iPhone 4G is coming on Verizon June 21 according to the buzz on the air, well we have already mentioned that the Verizon iPhone is on its way because Apple has placed orders for 10 million CDMA units.
But can the above be true because AT&T still have a contract with Apple that going on reports runs to the beginning of 2012, so this surely means that only AT&T will get the new iPhone in the U.S unless something has happened that we do not know about.
We will keep a very close eye on this, this is hot news that none of us wants to miss and we will be right there to give you the latest. So do you think the Verizon iPhone 4G (CDMA) will be launching June 21, or is this just another rumour to add to the bin?
Other News Surrounding the iPhone 4G: WWDC 2010 starts June 7 and we said a few days back that there could be the possibility of the new iPhone being launched, we also said that the HTC Incredible with Verizon will have more stock for customers June 6/7, which is the same day as the WWDC event (Funny that).

it could be that the AT&T contract stipulated that the deal was for an EDGE or UTMS device (And its lower siblings) where as the new CDMA model may not be covered, thus technically this is a new device and Apple would be free to negotiate with other parties?
Why build/sell a CDMA iphone, when Verizon is transitiong to LTE?
At&t is going to transition to LTE too, so either Apple is making the new iphone LTE compatible for AT&T or Apple is making a new iphone for both carriers now and when LTE is in full effect make "new" models for LTE. LTE won't be fully functional till about the endish of 2011 anyway, just in time for apple to replace this years model.
As best as I know from checking in 2009, iPhones working on the Verizon network already exist in other parts of the world. You can even get a "Cracked" phone here in the US …. BUT you are at the mercy of your underground sources if you run into any problems. The iPhone for Verizon and the rest of the cellular networks is just a matter of WHEN!
The iphone will NOT work on the VERIZON network. Current iphone requires a sim card and Verizon does not use them not at this point. However you can put a sim card from TMOBILE in an iphone and have some of the ability but NOT ON VERIZON. ATT and Verizon are on different wireless platforms.
its because att uses sim card it dsnt mean iphone dose not gonna work with verizon many phone company uses gsm800 gsm 900 gsm1200 gsm600 how ever att had different setting on theire satelite signal but they can still costumize theire settings so it can use fr othere carrier eithere sprint verizon tmobile can use iphone im fr 3rd word country were using simcard also like att or tmobile. i got a cellphone fr verizon that i brought to my country and it works well without even using a simcard wich is probided by smart and globe so you dnt have to be worried if its gonna work or not well its 2010 we have the latest technology now and in the future.
