FCC approves HTC Touch Dual for the US
The FCC has approved the HTC Touch Dual mobile handset to be released in the US sometime this quarter. The HTC Touch Dual handset combines integrated TouchFLO, touch-screen and slide keypad. In the US, Best Buy will be the first to offer the HTC Touch Dual mobile phone when it becomes available.
The FCC prototype image shows the HTC Touch Dual incorporates a 20-key SureType keypad for the US design and will run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS. The HTC Touch Dual has features such as TouchFLO touch-screen technology which allows finger scroll, panning and image zoom, Microsoft Office Mobile, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz along with HSDPA 850/1900MHz, and a 2 megapixel camera for still photography and video calls.
