Here is some really good news for all you Nokia fanatics out there especially for those of you waiting patiently for further details in relation to the release date of the Nokia N8 well here it is.

The date you want to into your diary is the 24th August, thanks to a report by Andrew over at fonehome.co.uk for sharing this with us. The Nokia N8 the 12 megapixel camera will be available from the 24th August, coming in a range of stunning colours eventually to choose from, although initially it will be the version in black.

The SIM free price is apparently £320 which is rather a low price for a mobile handset of this calibre the Nokia N8 will have tonnes of features and puts it in the same range as top end Smartphones.

The Nokia N8 has a 12 megapixel camera which is capable of shooting in 720p HD also a 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen with an HDMI output to allow you to output your mini movies to a TV. The Nokia N8 is the first phone to feature Symbian ^3 and although it is unknown at present whether it will be any good or not. We’ll have to wait and see.
