T Mobile Garminfone and myTouch 3G Slide June 2
T Mobile are getting prepared to launch not just the myTouch 3G slide which we were aware of on the 2nd of June, it would seem there is another Android based mobile phone which could show up on the same day.
A recent report from Ionut Arghire at softpedia.com gives us information that Garmin’s first T Mobile bound phone the Garminfone could appear on the very same day. The wireless service provider had announced that the new device would arrive in June but there was no exact date.
The T Mobile Garminfone was originally announced with a price of $199.99 including the signing of a two year contract agreement with the carrier which is powered by Google’s Android operating system. The device is said to be able to offer an enhanced turn by turn experience which will be one of the best available on any Android handset so far.
The Garminfone has a large 3.5 inch touchscreen display and has a 3 megapixel camera with auto focus and also geo tagging facilities. There is 3G connectivity options and Wi-Fi connectivity. Mobile web browser which has the pinch and zoom abilities with text to speech functions and the fantastic navigation capabilities that you would expect from Garmin.
