It would appear that the Samsung Galaxy S or the Samsung i897 may well be on its way to AT&T as we have heard in a recent article from the guys over at AndroidCentral.com via androidguys

Some hardware specifications have been leaked from a source which confirms the device to have a 5 megapixel camera and a 4 inch AMOLDED screen together with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Currently though however the speed hasn’t been confirmed but as the similarities between this phone the Samsung i897 and the Galaxy S we can assume that the new phone will come with a 1GHz processor for the ARM Coretex A8 variety.

It is also expected that the Samsung i897 will be shipping with Android 2.1, as soon as we have more definite information we will let you have it.
