The new iPhone 4G or HD or whatever the name will be making its appearance at WWDC today and Steve Jobs will reveal all, and because the new smartphone is coming it looks like AT&T is offering customers and early iPhone upgrade.

The image above clearly shows that the new upgrade will be available September 21, 2010. TUAW reader Omar said that he received a message stating that the upgrade has been moved up from October 2010 to September 2010, so TUAW took a look to see if all was true.

Now no one is sure if this is an upgrade for an iPhone 3G or for the new iPhone about to be released, see if you get the upgrade message by calling *639#, you should get a text message revealing the upgrade options.
