Kapil Dev, legendary all rounder and the former Captain of India’s cricket team is now the goodwill ambassador for Olive Telecommunications the new mobile phone company has announced.

According to an article over on Stockwatch, the renowned sportsman will endorse Olive Telecommunication’s products in India and Kapil Dev has stated that it is a pleasure for him to be associated with the brand.

Apparently Olive Telecommunications has several mobile phones in their portfolio which will be available in the Indian market soon, although no mention at with which devices they will offer and at what price,but apparently will be “trendy and attractive” handsets for each segment.

Arun Khanna, the chairman of Olive Telecommunications has states that Kapil Dev is a jewel of India and that he is the epitome of cricket and one of the greatest all rounder’s India has ever produced, and can be the best ambassador for their products.
