Samsung Intercept Destined for Sprint

Word has it that Sprint is to expand their Samsung smartphone line up with the addition of the upcoming Samsung Intercept handset SPH-M910 which is presumed to replace the Samsung Moment.

According to an article over on Softpedia by Ionut Arghire, the Samsung Intercet which has been spotted doing the rounds of the net waves in image form is expected to be available from Sprint as of the 11th of July, although that release date is unconfirmed.

Spec wise the Samsung Intercept spots a 3.2 inch touch screen, 4 row slide out QWERTY keyboard, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, and runs Android 2.1 OS but may be upgradeable to Android 2.2, but again none of these specifications have thus far been confirmed.

However, if the Samsung Intercept is indeed a replacement for the Samsung Moment on Sprint then one can expect the handsets spec sheet being upgraded to include a better camera. As for any pricing, well obviously that info isn’t available either just yet.
