Verizon advertisement for Motorola Droid X dig at iPhone 4 issues
It would seem that Verizon are on the attack and not for the first time against Apple, as they have started a new advertising campaign for the Motorola Droid X.
Thanks to a recent article by Andre over at afterdawn.com we can share the details with you. As we are all aware the iPhone 4 has been in the news a lot recently and not for all the right reasons we reported earlier here on some issues that unfortunate iPhone 4 users are experiencing.
People complained about losing calls and data plan whilst gripping the phone in their left hand. The solution according to Apple was quite laughably to hold the phone in your right hand! Or purchase a case.
Verizon have now seen the ideal opportunity to bring a full page advertisement in the New York Times which advertises the upcoming Motorola Droid X obviously singing its praises but at the same time having a dig at the iPhone. Right along the bottom of the ad is a statement which reads “ And most importantly, it comes with a double antenna design. The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like and use it just about anywhere to make crystal clear calls”. Well done Verizon lets hope the Motorola Droid X holds up to the statement.

I can not believe that Apple put out a phone with a problem with where you are holding the phone. How did they not miss the seemingly obvious problem when they were developing this phone. The iphone has so many impressive features, for them to drop the ball on something as basic as the antenna is extremely surprising.
