Yep Apple has now held their special event and several announcements were made by Apple chief Steve Jobs, some for the music orientated, some for the visual orientated, some for the gamers, and of course one for the iPhone faithful.

So basically what went down at Apple special event was iPhone owners can look forward to new next verion of the iPhone operating system, iOS 4.1 hitting the streets sometime next week and along with it delivering several bug fixes.

For those of the visual mind Apple announced their Apple TV now will be cheaper and that TV shows can now be rented rather than just purchased. For the music orientated Apple fans, they introduced a new version of iTunes with iTunes 10 that brings new social networking for music which they have called Ping.
