Nokia Exec Follows Kallasvuo by Resigning
The other day news hit the net waves that Nokia president and CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, had been given the order of the boot by Nokia and is to be replaced by an ex-Microsoft exec, you can check out that article by hitting up (here)
Well it appears that Kalluasvuo isn’t the only exec on his way out as according to an article over on Engadget by Vlad Savov, the head of Nokia’s Mobile Solutions, Anssi Vanjoki has now tendered his resignation.
Apparently Vanjoki, who only recently took the position of Nokia Mobile Solutions head has put in his resignation with the requires six months notice and has also released a statement which reads…
“I felt the time has come to seek new opportunities in my life. At the same time, I am one hundred per cent committed to doing my best for Nokia until my very last working day. I am also really looking forward to this year’s Nokia World and sharing news about exciting new devices and solutions.”
One does have to wonder though if the immanent departure of Vanjoki has something to do with Kallasvuo being replaced by Elop.
