O2 UK Will Not Offer HTC Desire HD
Officially announced yesterday at the HTC event in London, the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire Z smartphones can apparently be purchased on contracts commanding a £35 per month charge according to Jon French, the HTC exec director for UK and Ireland.
According to an article over on Mobile Today, by Balihar Khalsa, the HTC Desire HD will become available via all retailers, operators and distribution channels with the exception of O2UK as of mid October.
However when asked why O2 UK would not be offering the HTC Desire HD Jon French declined to respond, and no word on whether O2 UK will offer the HTC Desire Z at this time.
As for the HTC Desire Z, the device will be offered for sale from the Carphone Warehouse, Phone 4u and Vodafone UK.
