Anyone remember that Nokia leaked roadmap a couple of months ago? Well on that roadmap was a device known as the Nokia X7, but since that single mention nothing has been heard about a Nokia X7 handset, well until now.

An article over on Slash Gear by Shane McGlaun has it that the guys over at Mobile Geek say they have found proof that the Nokia X7 is coming soon on the Ovi Store, and did so by happening on a URL trick in the Ovi Store that means you change the URL to X7.

Apparently doing so pops up a list of applications and mobile games that are compatible with the as yet unreleased Nokia X7; of course it could simply be an error though and not mean that we may see the Nokia X7 surface soon.

However when bundling this with the previous leaked Nokia roadmap is does seem that a Nokia X7 will surface sometime in the future and naturally if or when it does we’ll keep you posted. I wonder if that 7 has anything to do with the report that Nokia is eyeing Windows Phone 7, a long shot I know but then…
