Yesterday we posted our first look at a new smartphone for the Sprint network which was known as the HTC Knight, you can check out that article (here). Now we have some more information about this Android device.

According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report, by Boy Genius, apparently one of their sources at Sprint sent them a picture of the HTC Knight handset accessory list, and said picture shows a case for said device will launch on the 6th of January 2011.

Of course if a handsets accessories are launching on the 6th it’s a good bet the device will do so as well. Apparently the guys have also been informed that the HTC Knight will sport a new handle when it is released on Sprint and will be known as the HTC Speedy.

Have to say that the date given of January the 6th is fairly guaranteed as January the 6th also happens to be the first day of CES 2011, so hopefully we’ll learn more about the Sprint HTC Speedy then.
