LG Watch Style appears again slick new photos
Last week we were treated to photos of the first two Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches from LG. If you weren’t sold at first glance, you may be pleased with a new round of LG Watch Style photos.
There was much ado about nothing when it came to Android Wear last year. As many sites reported (including our own) that the death of Android Wear was imminent, Google was quietly working behind the scenes with LG. The LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport are going to be the first two wearables from the partnership. Thank’s to a new leadk we are getting a better look at the former today.
The new LG Watch Style renders shows the watch in two different flavors with Silver and Rose Gold. It looks like it has a leather band and you will get a functional crown as well. Just what it does exactly remains a mystery. There does not appear to be a heart rate sensor although you will be able to swap out those straps if you choose. Nothing new in regards to the LG Watch Style specs, but the last big leak took care of that for us.
LG Watch Style Specifications
- 1.2-inch circular display 360 x 360
- 512MB or RAM
- 4GB of storage
- Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IP67 certification
- 240mAh battery
- Android Wear 2.0
It remains to be seen how the market takes to the LG Watch Style. Despite its name, it is not the most stylish device around when compared to the Gear S3. That said, it doesn’t have a flat tire and should be reasonably priced given what we know about it thus far. The LG Watch Sport is set to be the more interesting model at the moment, and we may get a good glimpse of it before it’s shown off on February 9th.
